Over 15,000 Views!!! (4/19/16)

I can't really grasp this fully, but this blog - my little heartfelt reflections - has gotten more than 15,000 pageviews!!! Right now it's at precisely 15,731 (I'm doing this post a bit late, haha!)! Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read my posts and comment your thoughts! The support really means so much to me and to thank you somehow, I will host a giveaway sometime soon (after I finish up some other projects that have a deadline). Let me know below if you have any suggestions for what I should giveaway (preferably something I can make, because to be honest, I am B-R-O-K-E, broke!) and I'll take them into account.

Some shoutouts for some of the people who read my posts and have commented the most thus far...

Christine Taft @ Green Gables of Avonlea - not only is she an active blogger, she is my best friend and she is absolutely AMAZING! Hop on over and check out her blog as well!

Sara Margaret @ Trusting in the Lord - she is a teenage blogger (like most of the people in the blogging community I'm a part of!) and she takes lovely pictures to go along with her awesome posts.

Mary Burroughs @ Mary's Moments -  she often posts pieces of her writing and snippets about her characters for her stories, which are really good!

TW Wright @ Indonesia Around Me - she has lived in places from Indonesia all the way back to America, and has blogged about some of her daily life.

Elizabeth Lindsay @ Of Tea and Things - another one of my good blogger friends; she's an amazing photographer, and she had the opportunity of a lifetime to meet me in person around two years ago! Just kidding, just kidding; it was actually more the other way around. XD

I highly encourage you to check out their blogs! They are awesome, amazing people and they've been my blogging buddies for almost the whole time I've been blogging now!

I will try to figure out what to do for the celebration of my blog, but if you have any suggestions, please let me know and I can try to work something out. I think I might do a small video series on my YouTube channel to post on this webpage. ;)

    1. Thank you! I went to this website, and put in the links to YouTube music videos I liked where it told me to. It's pretty easy, and in the end they tell you how to put the playlist you make onto your website. :)

And what do you think I am? A fig? Stop chasing after my son, he has no choice in whom he marries and neither do you!I could have Jessie send him to Saul's army and never let him come back until you are away or married to somebody else! Now, get back to work if you want to have any chance of seeing him again!

    5. And as for you, "Lovely" Abinidab... Before you start chasing after Leah, get your priorities straight! Why are you wasting time on the internet when you are SUPPOSED to be following after Saul and battling the Philistines, fighting for the One True God! If you have nothing better to do than sit in your tent on the computer all day then come home! I'm sure King Saul will be overjoyed to get you off his hands, your perfect angel of a brother, David, could use some help watching the flocks, and I have seedless grapes that need to be picked! So either start acting like a soldier or get back home and help out for once in your life!

    6. Yes, mi'lady. But trust me, Mrs. Jesse, no one wants to marry me anyway; you can keep him away as long as you want, but no one else is going to marry me. With all due respect, of course.

    7. And I don't think you're a fig, although you should certainly take it as a compliment if I did. Grapes and figs...

    8. Pardon my mother, she gets really passionate about her seedless grapes and her figs. And to you mother, I'm plenty old enough, I am a man now, havnt you seen my beard? And I have plenty enough time thanks to my new I(philistine)watch! I am totally hands free. Have you seen the weather? Samuel is gumming things up again. literally have a splashtastic day!

      Delete
    9. Oh, no worries, it's fine. And you have an Iwatch? Dang, boy! You're finally getting with the times!

    10. Abinidab, I do not need you to apologize for me. I am your mother and can apologize for myself if I believe it is necessary, which it is not in this case. You may have a beard, but you still misspelled the word "haven't" and forgot the apostrophe as well, so apparently you aren't "plenty old enough", or mature enough rather. Your father and I visited Samuel and told him of all your doings, and you may be surprised to find out that you are the reason for the "gumming" up of the weather. He was so shocked and dismayed at the reports of your folly that he called upon the Lord right then and asked Him to teach you a lesson, the result of his interceding... The heavy rains and storms that ravage our hillsides! All thanks to the "LOVELY" Abinidab. I pray you have learned your lesson...

    11. My darling Leah, let me teach you a few things about life. First, you don't get to choose who you marry, no one does, that won't become popular for at least a thousand years! As long as you don't hate them you will learn to live with them and someday appreciate them. Right now you're just too young to fully understand.

    1. Why was this comment removed and who removed it? Was Abinidab to forward and Leah blushed, giggled and removed it or was Abinidab embarrassed that he posted it and didn't want his mother to see? You can't hide forever!

    2. I very honestly don't know, Mother Nahash, I don't remember removing it at all so I think it must have been Abinidab. I'm sorry if it caused you concern, but surely you could ask him about it.

I(PHILISTINE) IS A SCAM!!!!!!!! THEY WILL FIND YOU AND KILL YOU!!!!!!!!! My only regret in life is that I did not comment sooner.... But not everyone has time to sit and gab about how "terrible" their life is. Heaven forbid that a few of you would get off your lazy butts and do some REAL work.

    1. OK, so I just have a couple of questions...

First off, why is someone else commenting and responding to all of the comments for me? Is there another Leah in town, or is this a joke? I don't understand why you all are just going with it. It's obviously someone else. I don't usually like to say things like this, but she's obviously not one of the loveliest maidens in Bethlehem that you had us summon.

Also, what's up with David? He's been pretending to be more regal (and failing) and I overheard him asking his sheep to call him "You Majesty". Is all that alone time going to his brain? Maybe he needs to get out of the fields more often. :)

    2. My Darling! You have returned! I am so sorry, I honestly thought that it was you I was talking to! You have to believe me, it is easy to get confused over the internet. Just ask Abinidab, but of course he is confused all the time.
As for David talking to the sheep... He has done that since he could talk. It kind of freaked some people out so we decided it was best just to send him out into the fields all by himself, where he wouldn't scare anyone, and he can chill out with the sheep to his heart's content. It's best for everyone that way, his brothers don't bother him, the neighbors don't freak out, and Jessie stays sane!
As for the acting all high and mighty, he probably spent to much time around the palace and the royal family. He'll get it out of his system and go back to normal in no time!

Swear allegiance to King David, you would be a perfect rebel general. I can put in a good word in with the king and make it happen, but you must pledge your loyalty first. We can't have anymore spies hanging around, I think we all know what happened to the last spy we caught...

Thursday be for the T&H play he started a rebellion, and you know I can't resist pathetic causes, so I joined. And now, because of me, it is no longer pathetic! Saul is king, but only for a matter of time, that is why we call him "Future King David".

Yes, you should. And both of you should swear allegiance to Future King David before he destroys Saul and his trembling 600. You do not want to be on his bad side when he becomes king... Don't count on our friendship to save you, the king has a mind of his own.

He's not as bad as it seems, he just does what needs to be done, and usually all enemies must be destroyed. If you aren't on his side, you're on his enemy's side. There is no middle ground so you should choose a side.

Random, but what kind of medicine is it? Is it the children's grape-flavored? Because that stuff tastes like the tears of infants and grub worms.
